Improvised, in the round, where the duo used an upright Piano and a Grand Piano fitted with Andrew McPherson's Magnetic Resonator Piano. Through the use of dozens of carefully calibrated magnets, McPherson's invention transforms an acoustic grand piano into an entirely new sonic beast, capable of bending notes and never ending organ like tones. These new live recordings by two highly sensitive proponents of modern piano-centred music is meditative and sonically engaging in equal measure and continues their ’Still’ collaborative project.
